Project 52: The Courthouse

Golden Reflections
The courthouse is changing.

Or perhaps, more correctly – as the seasons make their slow transition from winter to spring – it is my perspective that is changing.

During the past four weeks, I had the opportunity to photograph the courthouse interior as well as to shoot under blue skies and sunshine. Melting snow provided puddles and reflections galore.

It is the end of the first quarter of this year-long project. The challenge continues.

  1. I can see the changes and also new possibilities emerging. The reflection in the top image is wonderful.

  2. You are so creative in finding different views! I love the clock and the reflection in the puddle.

  3. Really nice images. The point of view and framing in the second one is excellent–I like how you got the clock in one window pane, and the both angels in two others. The damage in the third is a reality check–this old courthouse isn’t perfect. As always, outstanding composition.

  4. I’m really enjoying this series, Brenda. The clock tower framed by the skylight and reflected in the puddle are my favorites. I hope that hole in the ceiling means that work is being done to maintain or upgrade this wonderful old building.

  5. you’re doing so well to see this courthouse in different perspective. Love the reflection.

I greatly appreciate your comments!
