Westward Bound

Elliot-Kite-Flying

This weekend, we head west.

It’s spring break in Illinois for our favorite kindergarten boy. Time for grandparent duty.

It won’t be warm enough for kite-flying but I’m sure Pop-pop and Mom-mom can find ways to entertain an almost-six-year-old. After all, there are books to read and Legos to build and pictures to color.

And if it’s break time already, spring can’t be far behind, can it?

(I know it looks like he is being strangled but I can assure you that no children were harmed in the making of this photograph.)

  5. What a fun photo!!! Where in the west are you going? I just returned from 2 weeks in Washington and Oregon, visiting son and sister. Have fun!

  6. What a sweet shot of our handsome grandson. He is just a little younger than our oldest grandchild, who is in Kindergarten too. This age is so much fun, isn’t it? Have a wonderful time, Grandma!!
