What I am doing is the right thing for me …
It reflects me and I reflect it.

  1. I like everything about today’s post. The quote is positive–wonderful! Great “Brenda” image. Love the blues, the designs, the crop. You have a great eye for design!! I want to affirm that what you are doing photographically is right for you!!

  2. I love the quote!!! That’s how I feel…What I am doing is the right thing for me…[right now!]

The image is full of so many different shades of blue and I agree with Anita…your work is unique and truly you! Beautifully done!

  3. Doing the right thing for me . . . . oh yes.

  4. Hi Brenda, been gone for month plus, finally catching up. I love your photo, cropping and tints of blue…so calm and eye catching. I thought of you constantly the past two days as I took a Black and White workshop with Marie Otereo. Our group met in Charlotte and shot the architecture and all the beautiful fountains, sculpture and yes some people slumbering on benches. I tried to see the architectural elements through your eyes…impossible, but well intended. In the afternoon we did black and white conversions and some tricky manipulations I really couldn’t get the hang of. Hope to get a few things on FB or blog. Seriously, Charlotte is so beautiful…small but so well designed with beautiful sculptures, fountains, tree shaded streets…a photographers paradise. You are welcome to come and visit and we would go into Charlotte…what fun.

So now back to a bit more normal life….I hope you are well…smiles: sharon

    • Sharon – glad to have you back! I was in Charlotte once for a Photoshop seminar – unfortunately, the weather was rainy and I wasn’t able to take many photos of the downtown area – but with the little time I had, I can see that it would be an architectural delight. Can’t wait to see your photos from the workshop.

  5. I love the colors and the shimmer in this, Brenda!
You find the neatest things to photograph!

  6. What a perfect image to go with the quote, which I love. I don’t know if I could find one image that I felt was totally me. This one is undeniably Brenda — the colors, the lines, the reflections. Lovely!

  7. This could be a quote from you- love the image:)

I greatly appreciate your comments!
